ali em baixo, anda a ensinar-nos umas coisas. Acabámos de descobrir que o &lt;/span&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue',Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;Grupo Excursionistas Vai-Tu&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue',Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt; é a colectividade mais conhecida da Bica, muito devido às sessões de fado que aí tiveram lugar na década de 80 e que atraíram muita gente de fora do bairro. Este grupo nasceu em 1948 na taberna do João Maria, na Rua dos Cordeiros, pela sua mão e de mais seis clientes. A sua sede mudaria mais tarde para a Rua da Bica de Duarte Belo, onde hoje permanece.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue',Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;As sessões de fado acabaram, agora só acontecem esporadicamente, anunciando-se à porta da sede. Actualmente esta colectividade vive das excursões que organiza, dos bailes por altura dos Santos e do Carnaval e algumas obras de beneficência em prol das crianças mais pobres. Ah e claro têm o café na sede, onde se reúnem grupos de reformados para jogar às cartas, beber um copo e conversar um pouco.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue',Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;Nós ultrapassámos a timidez que as portas fechadas e o toldo, onde se lê &lt;/span&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue',Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;Grupo de Excursionistas Vai-Tu,&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue',Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt; inspiram e fomos lá espreitar. Encontrámos, de facto, um café com os tais grupos de reformados a jogar às cartas e a beber um copo. Sentámo-nos e sentimo-nos bem-vindos. Além dos grupos de reformados estava lá também gente mais jovem, com ar de quem vive por aqueles lados. Entre cafés e cervejas descobrimos o &lt;i&gt;Guia da Noite&lt;/i&gt; no balcão e tivemos tempo para o ler. Entre o entra e sai de pessoas para comprar tabaco na máquina, alguém viu a máquina fotográfica XPTO que levámos, armados em bons fotógrafos, que na verdade não somos (o Fernando é que é). E não fora não precisarmos de outra igual, poderíamos ter adquirido uma, certamente por uma módica quantia. Ocupa um beco, cinco travessas, três ruas que fazem fronteira com Santa Catarina, duas calçadas e um largo. Além de pequeno este é também um bairro sem tráfego rodoviário. O facto de ficar num vale “entalado entre os declives de duas das inúmeras colinas da Lisboa ocidental” tornou obrigatórias as escadinhas, que se podem encontrar em várias das suas poucas ruas.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;O transporte rei aqui é o elevador, que num vaivém quase ininterrupto, passeia turistas e curiosos. O elevador da Bica atrai turistas, é verdade, mas engana quem pretende conhecer melhor aquela zona. O verdadeiro núcleo da Bica, não é a Rua da Bica de Duarte Belo, mas sim a Calçada da Bica Grande, ou como lhe chamam por ali, as &lt;/span&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Escadinhas da Bica Grande&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Esta calçada é paralela à rua do elevador, mas esta não é a única rua que o turista desatento se arrisca a perder. A Bica é feita ruas segredo. O ideal será vaguear pela Bica até as desvendar todas, mas para tal é possível que com o entusiasmo ainda entre na casa de alguém e se meta em trabalhos. E nós achamos-lhe graça.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Sorrimos e continuámos a sorrir naquela tarde em que a Bica brilhou para nós. O sol resolveu aparecer e com ele vieram os passeios de namorados, as brincadeiras de rua das crianças, a roupa no estendal e as vizinhas de braços cruzados à janela.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Entre raios de sol fomos distribuindo boas tardes e acenando&amp;nbsp;às vizinhas,&amp;nbsp;como quem diz "viemos em paz". E parece que resultou. A relação espacial com os personagens está directamente ligada à sonoplastia, por exemplo, quando alguém entra numa casa, supostamente utilizando uma porta, ouve-se o som dessa porta a abrir-se. Assim, apresentamos um jogo, baseado em sons originários numa zona da cidade de Lisboa, mais precisamente em alguns espaços da Bica, criando um retrato sonoro, capaz de interagir com o utilizador.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Traçámos um percurso sonoro, capaz de levar o participante a percorrer espaços característicos da Bica. Para tal fazemos uso de uma sala escura, espacialmente delimitada por discretas luzes de presença. Pede-se ao utilizador que aí entre equipado com uns auscultadores, capazes de o imergir por completo no ambiente sonoro. Pretende-se que o participante ande pela sala, perseguindo algumas pistas sonoras que lhe darão acesso a diversas interacções. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Os ambientes sonoros são, por exemplo, o elevador da Bica, o cabeleireiro &lt;em&gt;Wip-hairport&lt;/em&gt;, a associação recreativa, a bica grande, o Mercado da Ribeira, entre outros. Cabe ao utilizador caminhar pelas “ruas sonoras” da instalação até encontrar o primeiro desses ambientes. Ao passar pelo Mercado da Ribeira, por exemplo, será convidado pela voz dos vendedores a entrar. Vozes essas que ficam mais longe ou mais perto conforme a proximidade do jogador ao espaço de interacção. Assim, que este entrar/ activar o espaço “Mercado da Ribeira”, toda a área da instalação se transforma auditivamente nesse ambiente. Para sair desta etapa de interacção e voltar à rua terá de resolver as três interacções que aí lhe são propostas: comprar peixe, fruta e legumes. Para tal terá de seguir as pistas auditivas, até os seus ouvidos encontrarem as respectivas bancas, podendo aí realizar a acção/movimento que lhe permite adquirir os produtos, resolvendo a interacção. É importante realçar que os espaços de interacção surgem no jogo segundo uma sequência lógica, só sendo possível activá-los quando a área que o precede foi resolvida. Assim, se evita a confusão total do jogador, tornando relativamente fácil perceber qual o espaço que se pretende que seja jogado.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Cada jogador conhece antecipadamente quais os movimentos disponíveis para resolver as acções, isto é, quais os movimentos válidos no jogo. Assim, o participante sabe que irá entrar num espaço de jogo, onde se pretende que encontre e resolva, através de movimentos previamente definidos, as interacções que lhe são apresentadas.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Este receberá pois um guia com os movimentos básicos de jogo, sabendo também que existe um percurso de interacções a percorrer e que a sua resolução rápida e lúdica é o objectivo deste projecto. De facto, esta “brincadeira” propõe que o utilizador descubra e resolva as interacções nela incluídas, o mais rápido possível, de modo a superar o tempo dos outros participantes. Assim que um conjunto de interacções for resolvido em determinado espaço, o jogador será recompensado com a imagem correspondente a esse espaço.
